Whitehouse student's graduation ceremony

Congratulations to all our 2007 graduating students of Design: Applied Studies, Styling & Design Coordination, Fashion Design and Interior Design.

Graduates were formally recognized for their studies by being presented with their Testamurs in a graduation ceremony at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Sydney on Wednesday 30th April 2008, presided over by Whitehouse Managing Director, Leanne Whitehouse, with guest presentation by the Academic Chair, Professor Andrew Gonczi.

Graduation is a turning point in adult life. It provides the key to a future full of promise, opportunity and challenge. The specialist design knowledge, skills and insights graduates take away from Whitehouse will assist them in achieving their full potential in their personal and professional life as well as their continuing education. Graduates and their families should be immensely proud of them in completing their specialist course of study.

The graduation ceremony recognises academic success and welcomes our newest graduates into professional life, setting them on a pathway of lifelong learning. The formal procedure and academic dress marking the ceremonial nature of this graduation reminds everyone of the long and distinguished traditions that underpin all education.

All members of Whitehouse staff have been fortunate to have been involved in launching graduates dreams for a stimulating, productive and satisfying career as a professional designer. The future is now up to them.
