Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia welcomes your application to study the Bachelor of Design in 2012. This information has been prepared to assist you with the application process for study in 2012. You are encouraged to review this information and the course information thoroughly before submitting your application.

  • Interviews will be conducted after your application is received and processed
  • First round applications close on Friday 16 December 2011
  • Second round applications close Friday 17 February 2012*

*There is no official closing date for enrolments so all applicants are encouraged to apply early. Places are limited and once classes have been filled, students are waitlisted and Whitehouse cannot guarantee further classes will be confirmed. Overseas applicants are reminded to ensure they allow sufficient time for Student Visa processing when applying.

what you will need to apply

Entry into the Bachelor of Design is based on academic performance and creative potential. Academic results are to be submitted with the application and requirements differ depending on the category of the applicant. All applicants are then required to present a creative portfolio in an interview (applicants from overseas or in remote locations may submit their creative portfolio via the post or digitally and participate in a phone interview).

how to apply for study in 2012

Applications may be submitted online or by post and sent to the Office of Admissions at the prospective campus. Applicants should ensure that all relevant supporting documentation relating to the entry requirements of their course are enclosed prior to submission.

On receipt of your application a Whitehouse staff member will contact you to schedule an interview. During the interview you will be discussing your design aspirations as well as presenting your creative portfolio. Interviews will be conducted after your application is received and processed.Please note that your Creative Portfolio and Assessment Task do not need to be complete when submitting your application, but will need to be ready for your scheduled interview.
