Delivery Policy

The Delivery Policy should be read in association with the Refund Policy.

Courses may be delivered face to face, online and may include some independent study with the contact hours and delivery location dependent on the course enrolled in and as advised in the current relevant course information material which is subject to change from time to time.

Whitehouse Institute of Design,  Australia will upon receipt of an online payment issue an acknowledgement of the payment via the client’s email address.

This acknowledgement will include:

  • Company name, address  and ABN
  • Date and amount paid
  • Specify if the payment is in full or a deposit
  • Reference to the Refund Policy with a URL link to the policy via our website.
  • Details of the components of the sale, eg tuition, materials
  • A short description of the service to be delivered
  • A URL link to the detailed service description
  • A statement on course start date and location
  • A Whitehouse Institute contact officer’s name.

The client will be issued with an online receipt.

The Institute undertakes to deliver all components of the educational service as described and by a suitably qualified educator.

Where applicable Qualifications will be awarded upon successful completion of accredited courses once endorsed by the Academic Board and the Board of Governors.

Where applicable Certificates of Completion will be awarded upon successful completion of the course once verified by the Course Manager.

Commencement of a course Is subject to a minimum number of enrolments. Should a course not run a full refund will be issued within 30 days.

Enrolments into a bachelor degree level course are subject to the Institute’s satisfaction that the course Admission Requirements has been met. Refer to the Institute’s website for more information.

International student enrolments into a bachelor degree level course are subject to the Institute’s satisfaction that the course Admission Requirements for international students has been met. Refer to the Institute’s website for more information. If a student visa is rejected by DIAC (Department Immigration and Citizenship) all paid tuition fees and overseas student health cover fees will be refunded in full upon proof of visa rejection. The enrolment fee and any other associated government fees and charges are not refundable if a visa is rejected.

Enrolments into a Bachelor level degree will be by unit per semester. All payment methods require payment of a tuition reservation deposit which is 10% of the annual tuition fee to secure a place in the course. Students who apply for government funded FEE-HELP assistance will have this payment refunded after Semester 1 census date.  For full terms and conditions refer to the Whitehouse website.

Late enrolment into a Bachelor level degree will be at the discretion of the Whitehouse Institute.  Students may be admitted up to four weeks after the course has commenced. A late enrolment penalty fee of $200 applies.

Enrolments into any of the VET programs are subject to the Institute’s satisfaction that the course Admission Requirements, as published in the relevant current course information guides, has been met. Refer to the Institute’s website for more information.

Art kits and other physical goods ordered online will be available for collection from the Institute, at the campus that a student has enrolled in, at the commencement of studies.
