2005 - Dewi Wangsa

Dewi Wangsa graduated from Whitehouse Institute of Design in 2005 with a Graduate Diploma of Fashion Design. After graduating from Whitehouse, Dewi decided to go back to her home country, Indonesia. She started working there with a newfound confidence she thanks Whitehouse for. Her first job was as a designer for IO & CO, a Fashion Design company. While she was working at IO & CO, Dewi also worked as a freelance designer. Her main goal was to start up her own company and working as a freelance designer was the first step towards achieving this.

Now, still in Indonesia, Dewi is working hard towards her goal, hoping to start her label this year, if all goes well.

What Dewi finds most important is to work hard and be original. Whitehouse taught her that working hard is the most important thing in the Design Industry, because you always have to expect the best and more from yourself.
