2010 - Nat Taubman


The Whitehouse 2005 mischievous graduate, Nat Taubman, known by Whitehouse senior members of staff to have glued stationary to the table during an assessment, has always been very good at sticking to his game! Now he has become glued to the brand Zanerobe. Having been with the Brand for Two years now, he started as an assistant designer and soon fashioned his way to becoming menswear designer and Zanerobe Fine Tailoring Designer. Read More...


2010 - Courtney Lewis


Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia graduate Courtney Lewis is someone who after graduating in 2007 has been driving to high achievement and is striving to bring a sense of style to Australian and International brands. Courtney has developed her skills through study and travel from the sublime of Parisian inspiration to the sugary Surry Hills of Sydney, where she is now a Production Assistant for 'Moon'. Moon is a highly developed and intriguing company that advocates that they are more than just a group of seventy designers, or an advertising agency, or web company, they are uniquely doing all these things. Success in the Family that is Whitehouse Instiute of design, Australia. Kai Aiyub the stylist and fresh faced fashionista is taking over your television sets every morning on Sunrise and The Morning Show - Network 7. He is distinguished by his ability to bring the flare and brilliance of Hollywood to the mainstream Australian viewer. 2010 - Stacey Isaac


After Stacey Isaac Graduated the 3 year course in Fashion design and management at Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia in 2000. She has enough talent to keep her on the corner of right now and going straight to the top. Stacey started her runway to the top while at college when she was awarded a prize for a cue competition while at Whitehouse which led to work placement with Cue design for a year which then continued into a design assistant role at Cue after she graduated Whitehouse. The success did not stop there, she was also awarded the part scholarship to go to Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy. Read More...

2004 - Kristie Coakley


British Vogues September issue showcases Mario Testino's stunning photographic shoot "Master class" and features hand-made couture accessories by House of Snowball. 2005 - Peta Portelli


Peta Portelli graduated from Whitehouse Institute of Design in 2005 with an advanced Diploma of Fashion Design. Peta has been very active in the Fashion world and she has been busy making her name known in Australia. She has won first place in the Australian Wool Fashion Awards, Second place in the Cutting In Youth Fashion Design Awards, she has very successful designs and collections and she already has had several magazine articles featured on her. 2005 - Kellie Wright


As the new Graphic Designer for the men's, women's and children's wear at Between the Flags, Kellie Wright is a very young successful businesswoman. She only graduated in 2005 from the Whitehouse Institute of Design and immediately after graduation she was offered a job at Between the Flags as an Office Manager. Only three months into working as an Office Manager, Kellie received a promotion to Graphic Designer. Read More...


2005 - Geoff Nicholson


Geoff came to Whitehouse Institute of Design hoping to expand and evolve his technical knowledge about Interior Design, to strengthen his creative knowledge. Studying at Whitehouse taught him that he would always need to be working on that, because the technical aspects of the design industry keep growing and evolving themselves, making it an ongoing process. 2005 - Dewi Wangsa


After graduating from Whitehouse, Dewi decided to go back to her home country, Indonesia. She started working there with a newfound confidence she thanks Whitehouse for. Her first job was as a designer for IO & CO, a Fashion Design company. Her main goal was to start up her own company and working as a freelance designer was the first step towards achieving this. 2005 - Alina Tadevosyan


In her last year at Whitehouse, Alina received a partial scholarship to study in Florence for her Master's. She is now working in retail to save up for her trip overseas which she will be starting next year. 2005 - Mia Lake


Mia Lake began her journey with Whitehouse Institute of Design in 2000 when she attended a high school workshop in fashion drawing and design run at her school. In 2003 Mia did a complete about face and decided that she did not want to continue with fashion and instead enrolled in Whitehouse’s Advanced Diploma in Interior Design. Read More...

During her time at Whitehouse, Louise won several awards for her Fashion designs, including a full scholarship to study for her Masters at the Academia Italiana in Florence Italy, and an AFAW award from the National Retailers Association. Read More...

Penny started at Whitehouse Institute of Design with a single goal in mind: to work in the Fashion Industry and be a success in that industry. 2003 - Lucy Proud


Lucy was inspired by the many cultures and different people to start her own design process while travelling Europe. She is a designer for womens wear and creates individually hand painted garments. Thanking Whitehouse Institute of Design for letting her know early on in the game that the industry really is all about hard work, she is very happy with having been to school there, because of the good preparation it gave her. 2003 - Bernadette Allen


Bernadette Allen launched her own pet wear label at an exclusive event hosted by former Miss World, Belinda Green and Dr Chris Brown of Channel 9's Burkes Backyard. Bernadette's designs were a huge success, with the likes of Deni Hines and Mathew Newton requesting special orders for their four legged friends. Bernadette will be starring in an upcoming reality TV show on Channel 9 that is expected to air this August. The TV show will be entirely based on Bernadette and her fiances wedding! Read More...


2003 - Daniel Avakian


Graduating in 2003, he was awarded a 1st prize scholarship to complete a Masters programme at Accademia Italiana Arte Moda in Florence Italy, where he refined his skills in tailoring and couture, graduating with 1st class honours in 2005 Read More...


2001 - Peta Baldacchino


While studying at Whitehouse, Peta only wanted one thing: to win the scholarship to Italy that was offered. Peta won the scholarship and moved to Italy to study for her masters there. Peta recently got a promotion to head designer at Decjuba and is enjoying it immensely. She helped create the new look for Decjuba at the 2006 L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Week, which was very successful. Read More...


2000 - Aimee Handsaker


Aimee completed the Bachelor of Technology Education in affiliation with Southern Cross Aimee completed the Bachelor of Technology Education in affiliation with Southern Cross University in Coffs Harbour mid 2004 as the first Whitehouse student. Since gaining her teaching Degree, Aimee has been teaching design at Whitehouse Institute of Design specialising in illustration, colour theory and textiles. 1999 - Jillian McKay


After an internship at Alex Perry, Jillian was offered a fulltime job as a couture and ready to wear assistant. After her time at Alex Perry, she decided it was time to do something completely different and went back to the Whitehouse Institute of Design, this time as a teacher instead of a student. Jillian is currently working on completing a Bachelor of Design Bachelor of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts. Read More...

Bridal expert and Whitehouse Graduate of 1997, Fiona Tosello tells of the current trends in bridal reflecting simplicity, radiance, and a timeless elegance reminiscent of Grace Kelly. Kate Medved graduated from Whitehouse Institute of Design in 1994 with an Associate Diploma in Fashion Design. Since then, she has completed a Master of Design at UTS, worked in several fashion companies and started teaching herself. Kate started up her own company Kata Design, a freelance design company. 1994 - Lucie Trinco


Graduating from the Whitehouse Institute of Design in 1994, Lucie was the 1st recipient of the Italian scholarship, an award which allowed her to study at the prestigious Instituto Marangoni where she completed a Masters in Product Management. She spent a year in Italy studying and immersing herself in the world of fashion at a time when luxury handbags were coming to the forefront in fashion.
